I would think that would make this into the German version of "The Haunted Tank."

Not at all. You've built a masterpiece that people can learn from when trying to build their own; thank you for posting the details as you progressed!

That means the most coming from men like you guys. I’ll always feel like the newbie here but all the kind words certainly help me feel right at home. I propose a toast to this forum so raise a jigger of your favorite libation and knock one back for all of us. Cheers! (or Salute!)

Hey Jim,
Just ogling my favorite Tiger 1 again, "Miss Leningrad". Do my eyes deceive me, or are those crushed out zigaretten butts on the turret top? Appears "Grumpy Gustav" the loader may be a chain smoker? But why not a cigar instead? Something about a 50 ring size, maduro, with a spicy, dark Cameroon wrapper? Ok, I digress but you know my preferences.

What's with the dog barking? Thought it was a real one running around your yard, but upon watching the video a dozen more times I think it's coming from the tank. Ha, just pulling your chain...get it, huh, yeah? O.k., I'm done now. My Wife is glaring at me.

308 is purring right along. Just enjoying having a fully functioning tank, it was out of action for close to 3 weeks! Building up the nerve to attempt the user sounds again. I don't want to get things all bass ackwards again!

Talk to you later, Eric.

Go for it! We can always get it back to square one again.
As for the barking, I’ve got that 1/16 German Shepherd on the way from Shapeways. He/she will be standing atop the turret sniffing out Ivan. I’ve already assigned the user sounds to have the dog bark the alarm, then the loader shouts that he spots some Russian troops. The commander orders the main gun loaded with a high explosive round (right now he says armor piercing but I’m changing that small detail) and then gives the order to fire.
I also have the sniper taunting scenario and air raid with radio chatter scenario on there. I enjoy putting the user sounds to use in a meaningful way to tell a little story.
So go for it!
