That is one complex piece of engineering, and very compact and smooth.

You have an IBU2, right in the middle of it should be a row of I believe 9 pins. This is where the TPA plugs into.
Then 2 speakers and 2 volume knobs plug into the TPA.

Well, enough of the electronic voodoo !!
I got a 5W 8 ohm speaker, for 6 bucks, a girls Barbie jewelry box for 2 bucks, carved it up to accept the speacker, plugged it in and yeehaa a nice clear loud-ish sound.
Repaired an old fan type smoker that Mr Reaper had lying around, charged it with HL smoke oil & it too performs a treat.
Just got to get an angle fitting for one of the smoke delivery tubes to complete it.
Tyhe smoker runs as soon as the power is switched on, but as I dont know how to remedy it, and Im sure not going to keep bothering Mr Reaper, its going together as is.
Soon I will be able to focus on the outside details & finish it.

Thanks mate, used cut up lids from Chinese food takeaway trays. They have a small hole in the top of each, just shy of the throw off arc so I can pop the forward hatches open & lube them.
I am going to place the running gear & test drive it before securing the upper hull. Thats way I can make any necessary spring preload adjustments without much handling.
Im well happy with the speaker, crisp sound and a small size.
I think all my tanks might get one retrofitted

(why do I like the pain sooo much

)

Well lads I can report, after the long road, and many gracious contributions from Mr Jack, Mr Sassgrunt, Mr Larsson, and not least Mr Reaper...................it moves.
The sound is not as loud now the hull is secured, but thats life.
Everything works, it turns on carpet, barrel elevates and recoils, life is good
I still need to stiffen the rear spring set a bit, I did some, but it needs a bit more to ensure the ass dont sag, but it did a test drive without chucking a track.
Now I can get on with the details at last.
