Ok,..well, I'm here Gary, after a wee thread hop. What am I supposed to be looking for? Ah...
Looking at the overhead projection (plan view ) of the truck, the fenders protrude about the same amount as the front ones. Being unfamiliar with the vehicle, I'm not sure how it's supposed to appear.

Looking again, I'd say the rear fenders
don't protrude any further than the front ones and that the overhead projection is thus a consistent match for the full frontal one....

...
If there is a difference, it's minimal one.

Looking at this

I would say that the front wheel is located at the centre point of the two rear tyres, but that's just what I can see from the pics. I would say the pics/diagrams you have look pretty realistic. It will also make it easier to build on the HL Chassis.

Thanks, Guys. I think the Tamiya sheet is right and the front tires should track on the centerline of the rear duals, and that will indeed make it easier to convert an HL truck. I'm really glad I bought the 1/48 kit, and it's gonna be a fun build in itself.
I also bought a 1/48 kit for this
48th to 16th is just times 3 and that's pretty cool (IMHO). I should be able to build this, but on a heng long frame, not the 6x6 rock crawler. I'll use the 6x6 for something else, but the cockpit in this is just too low-set for the set-up on the 6x6. Making a 6x6 from an HL truck will make things much easier, and the tankmodelbau tires should work perfect. I'm going to look into the tires and rims that come on the blitz, but I'm kinda scared to look cuz I know aisatam can be kinda pricey. I'd hate to faint from sticker shock right in front of the cats.
Interesting tidbit - the spell checker here only gives one option when it doesn't recognize the word "asiatam", and that's "satanism". Hmmm.

It also prefers 'Hang Long'

to Heng Long, 'Jaundice' to Jarndice..and many more gaffe-making options

But 'satanism' rules

Next I'm gonna see if I can stay in the house where it's warm and run the truck outside.

If you'd have had the Hetzer out, you could have shot the delivery man for not dropping anything off for you, it's well cool that fpv

Did ya see how we picked up speed when the truck appeared? Just in case it was something good, like a 3D printer, but we already know fedex won't be breaking, I mean bringing that one.
The mail lady saw the hetzer and wanted to know if I could make it pass out mail. I had to say, "No, and it can't make toast, either." Kind of lowers the value, eh? No Toast?

The true secret to the success or failure of any machine is "Can it boil water for a cup of Tea"

and..of course, Shaun, we know that all later types of British MBTs were suitable equipped for that purpose as a top priority
Hmm..

where would the world be if we couldn't poke fun at ourselves, eh? Especially as other people are strictly off limits these days...
