Thanks, men! I’m not sure I’ll do another one but if I ever do it will be a Panzer III of Abt 502 to accompany my Tiger. It would have to be modeled to be a late 1942 version. But I’m not sure I’ll ever be finished with my Tiger. I still need to paint and weather my Pak 40 and I have a fuel trailer and a Maybach 230 engine on the way from our very own WCP RC Models & Craft Co. I’m really wanting to build a kick ass diorama.

A maintenance diorama? I can think of nothing more realistic for an early Tiger.. :haha: Interested to see what you come up with

Without the later side skirts the lower hull got pretty dirty. Current model weight is 14.2 lbs or 6.4 kilograms.

Beast mode for sure. It looks all business. Great job on all the work.

I really like your work, I took it along the way, so I looked at the previous pages and I liked the different evolutions! I have a kv1s that has undergone a lot of changes over time, and it will still receive more! The dusting job is very successful, well done

Thanks! I appreciate the encouraging words and it actually motivates me to improve everything that I can. It did take some nerve and a shot or two of whiskey to point my airbrush towards the road wheels.

If that's the 'Autumn' road to St Petersburg (or Leningrad, as it was then), it's a very lush and pretty landscape :eh: :D If that's home, then you're blessed  Daily, I thank the fates (and hard work) for my view over the Loch in wild, Highland, Wester Ross :)
Having enjoyed the Leningrad Tiger journey immensely, I think a wee sequel, starring the Panzer 111, is definitely called for. :D
I have a Schwimmpanzer 111 stashed away, for a rainy day...and we get plenty of them here (rainy days- not Schwimmpanzers)... :lolno:

Never say your build is done, sometimes a detail you missed crops up and its got to be fixed. With acrylic paint its easy to remodel or add to. :D

Ha ha and yes. I thank God every day for my few acres of his creation. I’ve also always wanted to visit Scotland as well.
Not so sure about any more tank builds though. After spending well over $1,200 on my Leopard 2A7+ it just sits gathering dust. What a waste but I discovered I have no interest in modern tanks and the Clark TK 80G2s board has not held up well and is now non operational :wtf: . Totally my fault I’m sure but I think I’ll focus more on 1/16 WW2 German equipment and build a nice diorama of some sort.
Now if I can just find somebody wanting to buy a Leopard 2A7+ to repair.
