Herman,
You did a great job and it shows in every facet. Take care of yourself on the Job and we'll see you in October. Time Flies!

Have just picked up on this amazing and painstaking build. A beautiful job in every way and a splendid work of armor art. Very nicely done.

Thanks for the warm send off guys, no new work to report. Last two days spent with kids etc. I have about 5 hours work left on it for when I get back.
Made a deal with the wife not to start another build until the 3 year old is toilet independent !!
So might be a look only member for a wee while.
Will check in once I'm back & get the Panther done ASAP
See ya

G'day lads, I'm back.
For those that can be bothered I was 130kms from Moomba in a place called Epsilon .................
Desert, Emu's, dingos & sweet F-all else.
Funny, the joker I was with seemed to agree that the gear we had parked there with all its fuel & food would make a great find for any wandering survivors of the zombie apocalypse :haha: :haha:
Red sand that permeated every nook of skin & steel, I swear that stuff could make its way through glass !
I cycled that much water through my system my liver must have thought I was trying to corrode it to death, but home today I soon got it back on track with the finest thing from Tennessee since Megan Fox !!!

Got about 5 hours of work to do on the Panther then its done.
Seems Ive got about 100 hours of reading/catching up to do on the activities in here, you guys have been flat out

Off for a top up

Well I suppose I am expected to say welcome back Herman, :lolno:
But it seems to me that you have been lounging in the Sun in a deckchair on full pay for a couple of weeks having probably been the instigator of getting that nice Mr/Sir Abbot the push and lying low while the press look elsewhere. :/
And now this layabout is looking for a bar to lean against,
You just get back to that Build you ratbag. :haha: :haha:
I hope the family are well.
shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Anyone know the translated word for HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaHHHHaaaaaaaaaaaaa in Japanese ??
I have a few 'Bokke' here I need to round up a bit

Sitting here just now looking at 'WUT' & all I need to do is fit the commanders NVG & run the cables.

I follow this build with a keen interest, you have put an amazing amount of work into this.

I should count myself lucky, I can build tanks knowing that there are no wild animals in this country that are going to bite me while I am doing so... :P

On the contrary Mr Alpha, these M1 builds are far from boring, I am getting a lot from them for different methods of tackling detail problems & textured surfaces etc.
Im over the chase now, been catching up on mail, car cleaning, lawn & garden care that builds up when Im away. My teenagers are not real dexterious when it comes to manual tasks...............if these could be done by a controller that worked like a PS4, no problem :/
