As the visual apperance of tank building fits the above description, I feel a little put out !
Have to push on with 'Whitey' so the PzIII schlepper can come into the fray .............
Now I get this image in my mind Herman.... instead of the Early morning run ... and accidentally running into residual doggie fun... Tank goes deep six

Well, take it from me..............they put a lot of time into developing the paint to be an effective representation of authentic colours..............no time however was put into the taste of such effective paint IF somehow introduced into the human taste tract by mistake or by design
Cant say why I did it, but once done was too late, so just kept on.
P.S.
the number 7 flushing solution did not quite remove all traces, no matter how much I tried

Though I have used a similar technique... I don't have a suggested solution to the after effects either

....though I do find it a lot easier to just put a little spit into a cup rather than acquiring added moisture from a direct source

PS... Spit with bubble leave interesting marks ....seems good when doing exhausts

Not happy with the rope so chain this too shall be.
Have helmets to secure, track cable to place, a bit more snow material and I'm going to call it.
Display base will be a toss up between the pictured house ruin, and a simpler alternative. Just have to see how it goes.
Looking dang close Herman...you going to do a Show off with her solo?.... or make the diorama first ?

Herman,
You have put so much work into modeling the tank from the scene and done a bang-up job on it that it really does need the ruined house and tree to complete it. You have a lot of options for the shack and the tree. The only real bother will be making the base with the mud track and the grass hill. Looking forward to you finishing it up. A serious award winner.

Painless

Here ya go Herman... A shortcut... says needs some TLC
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1930s-4 ... 540efb1d21
TLC= Some flammable liquid... a few rocks tossed strategically... and a fire extinguisher

I remember in the early 60s we were taken around the EBEN EMAL fortress, (it was one of the early examples of the use of paratroopers to take a defended position) After we had been shown the place we crossed the road to go to a bar for lunch and in conversation with the owner she told us that as a child a Panzer 111 had rolled upto the bar and for a bit of "FUN" had fired it's main gun straight through the front window, This was one Belgium citizen who held feelings of antipathy toward Tanks in general and German one's in particular.

Well, really aint over until the base is done, so, no hope of a show off until then.
Mr Painless is putting my weights up not to wus out & do an alternative base, so its going to be a while !
