Thanks Guys.
I now have a 2nd being printed whilst i write this.

The chassis is dead simple and works great. It also makes a cool clicking and rattle noise like i am sure this thing would in reality had it being towed behind a truck

Got all the little details being drawn up now

A 1/6 one would look cool as :), but it also would require in my eyes for everything to open etc as i will be able to nicely incorporate hinges etc

My wife just made up her own camo using German WW2 colours. It came out really well. I like it aswell :)

I am sure some of these would have seen some action in the early parts of the war, so now i just need an equally old truck to pull it. Give me some ideas of what to pull it. No i not printing some horses haha, even though this would have been one o the largest guns of the Great war to be pulled by horse to its firing position!

If you are going to truck tow it, you probably should consider steels rims and peumatic tyres, the cart wheels were limited to horse power due to the slow speed capability.

Hmmm, I’ve got files I cobbled together for a Hanomag SS100, that bugger would pull a V2 rocket sot it should pull just about anything.
At 1/16 the wheelbase is about 5mm shorter than a WPL 4x4 truckImage

This is a good point, however i have found some pictures of trucks towing them with cart wheels also, so they obviously made do in some cases, maybe when the ground was softer lol.
I agree though, for long distance they may have had a field conversion to pneumatic tyres or maybe just thrown on a trailer and lifted to where needed.
The German field kitchen i have done i have an awesome WW2 picture of one being towed behind a Blitz or old Ford truck. Can't quite tell in the photo.

Today i have been asked if i will do a Flak 88!!!!! Yes i will, but damn that will be complex. Plus i would want to be able to detach the axles and move the thing! Bit more practice first

I defo think i gonna need me one of these for sure. Be great to pull some heavy artillery with one.
I really need a 12 or 18 tonne halftrack. Although before i get there i have to finish a Hanomag Sdkfz251 halftrack. That will take a long time to do in CAD still.
