Ahh...........her mum took her :shh:
Yep, the gadgets seem to bring it together. Got the cables on today, 8O 8O
And the tow cables painted & fitted. These need a touchup as lost a bit of colour during the "damn you just stay there" process :haha:
The cables were fitted dry into the rocket motor tubes so I can remove them if I need to for any reason. The cables will stay-can be rolled up & stowed, but the rockets can be taken out.

:{ :{ ...............I have visions alright, but normally after 2300hrs & with a load of Tennessees finest on board :haha: :haha:
Good to see you back
I really want this done before I go back to work, been putting the familly off a lot this 3 week break, so will have to make it up next time I can see that coming

I still have the commanders night gear to do & fit, plus the dusting/mudding etc so my time is running out fast.
Also underestimated the weight of this thing fully loaded...............the heavy duty springs I fitted but did not 'clock' sag at the rear when it runs, so I dread the thought of going back over the suspension & fixing that :'(
I weighted down my Tiger & it was ok before the fit out, I assumed(we all know what thet means) it would be close to right for a Panther build WRONG :/

Cheers Mr Kaiser, yes, the Russian experiment is going to be a steep learning cureve. No familiarity whatsoever.
I will begin with getting the ride height correct and going from there.

On a side note, first day of spring here in Aus. On the Gold Coast, things are warming up...........so much in fact that I had a gift left at the door :wtf:
And I dont mean the one in the blue wrapping 8O

1.2M long, nice colours(like my Panther but with dunkelgelb spots) and apparently resting up while looking for a mate.
100 teeth, and a good bite capability...............they call these harmless. No F'n mates here sunshine - piss right off
Yeah, righto, tell my Mrs that, I just about got to claim on her life insurance from the fright, but to make it worse, that gift was outside for one of her friends kids and you can bet the freaken surbloodyprise it would have been had she arrived to pick it up !!
I get loads of nasty Eastern Browns & Red Belly Blacks where I go to work, but they never sit outside your front damn door .

I will give you guys simple mathmatics ..........

1 X KIWI + 1 X SNAKE of any type = get out of the way Hussein Bolt 8O 8O

$88 for the snake catcher to come around & make the big mistake of trying to educate me on various snake breeds :eh: :eh:
oh, and take it away - fully educated on Kiwis & the relationship with snakes .

I was piss farting around last night & today to fill in a few details ;
Hull MG- done(pics later)not yet painted.
Hmmm, featureless area of rear turret.............Helmets, easy ? Wanted one with chicken wire & one with a cover.
A water jerry can on one of the vent armour blocks(yet to be secured)
Light mud application by blowing over a brush covered in dark earth( to late to run the compressor)almost passed out from hyperventilation, the Mrs nearly pissed her pants laughing :/
Overall dust using Buff this morning. Might have been a bit heavy handed on the buff though it does not photograph very well.
I might go over it with a bit more dark earth.
Handles rubbed with a pencil

Yeah, they bite.........and as I'm not one that cares for anything wild that wants to bite me- it was lucky to get the removal option rather than bashed with a spade !

Ive had some track issues this last couple of days, thought all had been taken into account early on, but the added weight overloaded the suspension.
Had to remove all the roadwheels & suspension arms. Fitted King Tiger heavy springs AND clocked them as well.
Was a rock-show reinstating all of them without disturbing the details already fitted :problem:
Took a long time and much "walk breaks" to calm down.
Got out of it with only one equipment failure.............the track pin pliers broke off the rear plate , phew. ;)
Tracks back on and test run successful.
Fitted the two helmets and a sledge hammer, the water jerry can and began the commanders NVG set.
In all honesty, the commanders set is the worst of the three in quality & accuracy. The pot metal is porous & heavy in mould lines.
The spot light is not like the other two- this one has a metal lense !! :wtf:
I replaced it with a clear lense, its not a cover either.
A plus is that the cable joints are pre-spotted so not to bad to attach the cables once all set on the MG ring.
Im off back to work on tuesday so not long to go.
Doing a month straight this time
