Whew! There is some jaw-dropping attention to detail going on here. I even had to look up "interlocking piping." It seems that among other applications, it is used for exhaust. Why would an air intake require such complicated piping? And was the duodecim (geepers, a guy has to show off somehow ) twist a characteristic of all the Feifel intake piping, or an accident of production as the pipes were fitted together (interlocked)?

Thank you, MrChef! This old Refessor finds the photos clearly explanatory and interesting: just the kind of picture book I need at this advanced age. I will never again view a Feifel aircleaner in the same way. For example, I see that the direction for the interlocking provides for smoother airflow. (And I think that's the same kind of interlocking used on some roofing to help avoid leaks.)
Then, too, I had not heretofore ( ) seen Panzerplace (https://panzerplace.eu/), so you scored double helpfulness.

over the 10 years of this build, i have read many times how the Tamiya German Grey is too light and blue. Having bought a can of Tamiya German grey yesterday to spray over the beck and sides to cover putty, styrene etc, i noticed that the colour has become a more realistic darker grey and the blue ish element has gone.



This means I need to spray the wheels again but theres no way i will be taking them off so its time to use the DISPIAE circle cutter to make a mask. This should be a hoot! Wish me luck.

Just me but if you don't want to remove the wheels and you will eventually weather the tank I would just use some Tamiya Black Panel Line wiped with your finger over the wheels. That will darken them enough to match the hull and then can be dusted and dirtied up later
