Alpha-Matic,
Thanks for the tip! I will surely be using it as the next year will be a Resin O' Plenty year. The next project after the StuG winds up is the 1/6th Stuart rebuild. It will see a lot of white metal and resin added to it. I'll be practicing a resin cold pour to make a duplicate mantlet for the build and send Sass the original tracks and some pieces and a mantlet for one of his 1/6th vehicles.
regards,
Painless

Tonight was lawn night so I didn't have a lot of time to devote to the StuG but I managed to get the next detail set started. Even if it was just a little (lot) detail filing and some glue. I was able to put some thoughts together on how I wanted this part of the build to work. More tomorrow night. Pictures:

Painless, this is looking great. Love all the details and the little bits and pieces you are adding to it.

Michael,
Thanks, Doc. Some more things to add, definitely. Take it from a 'display in a museum' feel to a working piece of armor in the early days of the War.

Ad Lav,
That piece is from An-Bri-RC in Germany. All of those details ship with it for a very reasonable price. Your modern Leopard will need that special mount but the MG should work just fine. ;o)

Beautiful early Autumn morning here so I got outside at Lunch and did the base spraying for one of the the detail sets for the StuG. I did the prep work for these little beauties the other night and will sit down this evening to finish them up with a brush. Pictures:
