Done a hut that can hold the Panzerfaust electrics, a few signs, another roadway, a test stretch of water for under the bridge, and bought a King Tiger. This is what happens when it is 35 degrees and too hot to step outside of the door!
Anything else??

35 !!................
I thought I would never acclimatise to the summer here, but now when its hot we sleep in 24 C air con !!
Big thing for you guys up there is the temp swing, snow for months then a +35 spike must be so hard to cope with.
The guard shack looks great, the idea of the random Panzerfaust on your I.R. field is real inovative.

When I was a child we had snow halfway up the front door, 'all' roads were impassable, and the snow was still on the ground in May. I thought that was normal as I was too young to know anything else. Ever since then it has snowed less and less, and the winters are more and more mild. Last winter was the mildest ever, only a couple of frosty mornings. I am ok around 22 degrees, but once it climbs above that I start cooking and there is no way to cool down. I even had heatstroke at a tank weekend once, I couldn't figure out why my head was swimming, I couldn't keep my eyes open, and despite the heat, I was freezing.
What makes me laugh is that all the Christmas advertising and Christmas cards all depict snowy scenes, and yet no one under 40 has ever seen snow at Christmas?? The bookies start their annual 'long range weather forecasts' in October, always predicting the coldest winter on record etc etc, and a whole load of people go and place bets on a White Christmas, talk about gullible!! There is no prospect of snow at Christmas unless the next ice age puts in an appearance sometime soon.

Seeing as I had to buy a new printer, I thought I would play around with photo editing and decorate the shed. I have louvred covers for the side windows.

Well it all works, including a muzzle flash for the Panzerfaust and Machine Gun. The flash led is 3mm, so Mr Silversurfer, if that will fit into whatever weaponry you have, then I can hand it over at the next meet, or just the led + wire & plug if its easier.

Bump & Update Thornbury Show

I asked for ten tickets and that's nine accounted for.
Doors open at ten I think, but we need to be onsite by 9am at the latest to cart everything into the show halls, and set everything up. As we discovered last year the die hards get there very early and get the nearest parking spaces.
Same rules apply as last year, volume at 50%, and a battle every hour on the hour, of around 15 minutes. IR tanks only in the battles, anything else can be run around the battlefield in between battles to keep the public entertained. No BB's allowed.
I think that covers everything, but if I have missed anything then just let me know. We can discuss further at the meet on the 31st.
Cheers
Rob
