Great looking project. I really wish I'd had the budget and the time to have gone to this much trouble with my Tiger. Your Tiger is going to look fantastic when it's done.
Great pictures too by the way. I love nothing more than seeing the many stages of a build like this.

Hey Derek......
Can I ask what source of information you have used to find such incredible levels of detail on your Tiger Hull deck ? . Whilst there are 100's of
photo's of Tigers in profile, very few show Top hull details to that fine extent . Excellent detailing

Re: 507 schwere Heeres Panzer Abteiling, Mid Prod Tiger 1
Hey guys,
Here is somemore stuff done, getting there. Soon it will be onto the dreaded electronics.
The Rear Storage Bin

On the portside here is the First Aid Box as per the ref pic.

Here is the Asiatam Commanders cupola, after a quick clean-up and the periscope guards filed a bit wider to accept the Asiatam Periscopes, I soaked it in the AK Interactive Burnishing Fluid and added the weld beads. After the casting texture was added with Mr. Surfacer.

Around the inner ring of the cupola I added 7 Brow Pads, probably never seen but you know me...

I also cut out the two Scissor Periscope opening common with Befhels and the 507th.

Here is everything primed and the inner ring painted and weather so that it will not have to be done after assembly. The persicopes are in but covered with 3M Low Tac Painters tape.

Now the Tamiya Loaders hatch less that little arm, trying to find a suitable material to use and a template. I added the hatch cable. Now if I could find the hatch hinges.

Finally, a fab'd bracket for the TETRA Fire Extinguisher. Nothing fancy, just styrene.

Same here time to re visit my tigertanks_for_the_memory wrote:It's really looking fantastic Red. Only problem is: you've now shamed me into detailing my own periscopes!
Great work too by the way
