just a warning on crystals that arent H/longs own most dont work as they are the right frequency but h/longs receiver is set just off that frequency via the little pots on the receiver please dont attempt to adjust them you need an oscilliscope to get the "wave" right :O

hobbico redhawks used to be the only ones that worked 8O

ive tried all the "Car" crystals

the mato sherman ones should work and this gives more frequencies i think we are at about 15 if you include the mato ones ;)

Are that is very interesting! Would not want to waste my money on them if they won't work!!! But will have to get some befor the meet just so we can have as many tanks working at the same time as possible :thumbup: thinking of having a drag race and the winner makes the teas!!! Lol ;D

I might try and make this, never been to or seen an event like this before and ill have both tanks to bring.

That rite you should come down! I thinks it's about 80 miles from Derby would love to meet you and your tanks!!!! :thumbup: the more people that come the beter it will be!!!!!!!! I want to have to shout over the noise of a fleet of tanks !! :thumbup:

No don't need IR battle system there will be a few of us with out it.

We're still working out what to do with regard frequencies and having as many tanks running at same time, but even if your not running your tank you be chatting with other tankers.

it's not necessary
but once youve had a go with a battle equipped tank then you will be wanting one :D

if you have a tamiya tank then all you'll need is the mushroom and i/r emitter
non tamiyas ie heng longs will need either the DBC David's battle circuit , Elmod or the SLU sound and light unit which Dave from forgebear tanks can get hold of
