Make her drive it for 30 secs, then she'll agree - I have 3 of the original version and 2 of the later IR version and, as a friend of mine would (sarcastically) put it "I don't understand, I bought 5 of them and they still sucked?!?"

well it works the sounds seem not too bad neither, the details also pretty good and the suspension looks good too i cant crack her open until the wife goes to bed so i,ll leave that until she,s not around.

does it have engine sound? I thought it just had the gun sounds?
I'm still pondering salvaging the sound card, tho both the DBC/DBCRC2 and Tankhobby's systems kind of make that redundant.

Ask Rob - last time I saw his opinion he thought they weren't worth it. I've never pushed my T34's hard enough to warrant the metal gears, but I take better care of my fleet than maybe some others out there?
