Finally got round to watching "WHEELS OF TERROR" and have to say its not a bad film, ok the germans are using russians tanks but its what we come to expect from these old films, also im delighted to say their are some naked lady's in the film, so good shout Tony i enjoyed it

no worries keith, for a low budget film like you said, its a good one, i got on to it because ive read all the sven hassell books, and wheels of terror was the 1st book he wrote, sadly wheels of terror is the only one of his books made into a film

What about the film Tobruk,with Rock Hudson and George Peppard. The scene where they mortar both the Germans and Italians is priceless.Both then start shelling each other with Patton Tanks.The Italians with Pattons? do me a favour!!

Another film was Sea of Sand with Michael Craig and John Gregson.They used Chevrolet trucks and were called the L.R.D.G. Sent behind the German lines in Libya to destroy their fuel dumps.What were the tanks they blew up there? Mind you a R/C Chevvy truck in 1/16 would be very interesting especially one based on this film.

I'm curious about the distant Centurion tanks in "ice cold in Alex" what were they doing in the desert if the were British? were they owned by another country at the time? They did have German crosses on them for the film. Atleast they were in the distance and you had to squint to see them.

what about wheels of terror by Sven Hassel exellent movie, David Carridene stars in this with Oliver Reed, read the book and saw the movie brill.

what about 'Tank Girl"??? don;t know if it had a tank, but Lori Petty is so hot! (or 'was ' so hot...that was in 1995.....)
I think James Garner was in a father/daughter movie with a tank in it...don;t remember the name cause it was pretty bad...

Tank Girl, i'd forgotten about that. Ahh memories of Deadline magazine. Yeah the film had a heavily modified Stuart with a very Hewlett paint job. TBH not really worth watching for the tank technical pornography though.

9th Company, pure class - russian tanks mostly and trucks etc etc.
