I have fitted the gusset detail to the underside of the pannier floor which was not part if the kit. This was quite time consuming with basic hand tools and my Dremel but I'm glad I gave it a try. Lots more practice on welds.

Some may have noticed an incorrect shape on the turret wrap left hand side which was due to the part being cut too early during production. I have a piece of aluminium which I will cut and grind to shape. Wish me luck. I will attach the new section with some countersunk bolts.

Adding details to wheels. Kit wheels lack details in the nut and bolt detail. Also difficult to open cap to remove wheel as cap is retained by 14 nuts. Layout now changed and can be removed with just 3 nuts.

I have now detailed the outer wheels also.

I have fixed the turret wrap with a piece of aluminium bar cut and filed to size and held in place with a couple of countersunk screws.

More welds to front.

My Dremel is getting a bit hot. Hope it will last.

I have decided to do some work on my kit mudflaps. Here is the result of my attempt on the front flaps.

Rear mudflaps will not be as easy. The kit parts are not really correct for a late Tiger as far as I can see. I will have to think about them for a while and how to modify them.

Excellent Job on the hinges, really like the build as it has not been done here and your detailed pictures and comments help to focus on the issue anyone might encounter building one of these monsters.

Well done,Saxondog

Excellent John,This is so helpful to me and restoring my Tiger,I just want to thank you for all the information and the great pictures. I know your waiting for the Test Drive. Do you have the rotary magazine yet? Very curious about how that system works.

The build is really coming together and I must say you have done a brilliant job, Sax

Thanks Blake. Yes I have the magazine. The kit I got included all options. Sound, motion.smoke, blank firer,
Armortek seemS to be going away from the blank firer and are now using flash with electronic sound and recoil.
