Hi, made a little holder for the rear reflector....sliced it off the tank and attached it to a little bracket made from a brass off cut, filled in the light with bright red oil paint, does not show up the brightness of the red really well in the photo

Here is the starter handle in place, and the rear reflector bracket....

Hi again...had a go at finishing off the spare track holders....jeez my eyes are burning now!....talk about concentration..cutting a link open on the chain, then feeding it on to the pin, then closing it and added a dab of super glue...

Image

Thought I would try to add the aber clasps to the rear bins to give it a good look.....but they are so small and fiddly....and my sausage fingers are struggling here!......will do the best I can and glue them on to look like I completed them I think(next to a 5p to give scale)

Hi Blake, got the light from Welshdragon a few weeks ago, the bit of plastic I stuck underneath is quite fragile, would like to solder on a small piece of brass, but that would damage the l e d....one of the difficult bits also, was cutting tiny pieces of tape to cover the light when i sprayed it. I am starting to wonder if I will use the tank properly, so many small bits to brake now!.....just around the kitchen floor me thinks

Hi grant, the garage roof was supposed to be fixed this week...bloody builder is delaying all the time...and we have had a good week for weather to, nevermind.

Weather is getting cold here, so its hard to do any spray painting....(not allowed to do it in the house :( ). Will do a bit more tomorrow, will try and start lining up the brackets for the skirts...found a problem with them to, its the profiline set, when I glued two brackets on for a temp fit, and hung a skirt on, I found that it was rubbing against the tracks....they need shimming out I think....will post some pictures tomorrow of the problem, off to the pub tonight for a mates birthday p*** up... :P !!.

Hi.......what a couple of weeks(work work work)!.anyway first time i have sat and had a go at the tank, but not much.....bought the little detail set from welsh dragon models(he is great), the kit comprises a bit that hangs on the side, and small hooks that are used on the radiator covers and .............these little fellas......as i have been working on the rear of the tank, and one thing that bugged me about the heng long molded bits were the rear sticky out bits on the engine access cover....now, they point down on the heng long, but they are supposed to be horizontal.to hook up to a kubel wagen apparently....anyway...hope you can see what i mean

They are the shiney bits.....
