Thanks Xrad I have the Hummel kit coming from Japan and am not against buying the Tamiya parts I did that on my two Tamiya static KT's a Henschel and a Porsche .
Looking over the build instructions I have the rear bottom is a add on for the Bandai kit so with some work it looks like it can be made to mount on to the tamiya Panze IV lower hull i have been wanting to build a Nashorn for some months now I posted about it back in April and have the Nuts & Bolts VOL 14 on it and a web site of a big model being built .

http://images.kitlink.com/Products/imag ... 20kit.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

there are a lot of pics there .

You are correct, the rear bottom is a glue on piece and I forgot to mention that! :{ Unfortunately, the wheel spacing is slightly different on the Bandai kit, but nothing you can't fix with a drill press.

Since you have done the hull change before, it will not be hard for you. I do the same with most of my builds. Too bad Tammy does not sell hull kits!! But for this kit, I left the Bandai hull as is because it was a pretty solid unit and I was able to get a nice upgrade suspension kit.

Did you buy from Jason's store? I saw he had one for sale... A few months agao I asked him if he could find one so I could start my Nashorn build...I gues he finally did find a kit.

I checked Jason's store out last week he did not have one but found one Friday on jr-rc ebay page .
If the Tamiya Panzer IV hull ends up being to much trouble to convert I can always use it for my Stug IV build so ether way im not out on the money.

I just really think that gun needs to work, you have to have one that will shot something other than light. How about it? That gun just looks mean, really would hate to be on the receiving end, we don't realize how much machinery is inside the turrets that we don't build, just brings the real effect of this bad machine that is the 88mm weapon. Really brilliant work xrad, don't know where you find the energy. cheers Sax
