started to add some detail , gave it a pin wash followed by a overall wash with green/brown ink ,then shot some more coats of olive green on then added white to the paint and blew that over the raised top surfaces

next i got a old cd case and cut out the periscope glass and fitted them in the slots i had made

just added the mantle cloth shroud, made the shroud out of cling film and added the fixings, they are made from cut up sections of thin wire cable with the inner wire removed

the shroud is quite tuff , i stretched it a bit to make it look right but noy so much as it would be under pressure,i used super glue to tack it to the top then tacked it to the mantlet, , i then fired up the pershing to check gun elevation,  then i added the brass strip to help keep it down its painted wiith acrylic and seems to stick well,i only used cling film becouse it was at hand at the time, if i had to do it again i would use a baloon, just started to add some shading to it plus started on the 50 cal
