The DShK machine gun had several modifications to the sighting device, it had an automatic trigger, BUT it had to be cocked by hand, an empty cartridge case was put on the bolt handle and the bolt was cocked using it.

A few more photos....
Look at the modifications, some did not have a lower handle, but you will see the difference between a tank machine gun and an easel one in the electric drive that is located between the handles, I saw when they were actually removed....
I have several photos, but they weigh more than 3 mb....
I'll try to give them a light circumcision....

Those are some useful reference photos, Pavel. The basic parts of the MG look like the one on my HengLong Chinese ZTZ99A. Do you know if I have identified it correctly as a variant or copy of the DShK?

No, they havenโ€™t installed Chinese art on Soviet tanks yet....
The USSR had enough of its own DShKs...
Just a few modifications, and several types of sights.
This is really a Soviet tank, tomorrow I will show you a photo with an inscription on the turret......

The old DShKs had a clean barrel, the DShKMs had a corrugated jacket on top of it for better cooling....

The marking of Soviet weapons implies the number itself and its last three digits on all parts.
This has survived to this day...

The inscription reads:
"Hit or miss"
I think a colleague from Poland will be able to explain the full meaning, Google cannot...
