That temporary set up is righteous, Kaczor! Quantity AND quality scenery. That would be great to drive and manouvre around at scale speeds.
There's a video of a tank battle at Danville(?) that circulates around on Facebook periodically. The public facebook comments are interesting and wide-ranging:
--looks fun
--they look silly bunny hopping around like that
--good to see guys having fun with their cash
--bb's are too dangerous
--cool if they could shoot paintballs/flame/smoke/pellets
--never seen so many virgins in one room (that one got much backlash!)
--NERDS!
--would be better with scale speeds
--boring
--Interested, how much is a tank?
--cool to see people enjoying their hobby
And on and on. An interesting microcosm of life. Most people liked it.
Mike.

That's fantastic, I really love some of those comments
And that Polish temporary battleground really is superb

Here is a picture of our club field from early last season. Lots of improvements/vegetation and proper permanent structures have been added since but it shows how you can still have fun just driving the models around as well as battling. The Tamiya system works great here as although the picture didn't manage to get the whole field in on cloudy days there have been hits scored from one corner to the other which is quite a distance

Those are both lovely. Goals for myself. I can certainly do it on tabletop, so I imagine some of the skills will translate. Or hope so, anyway!

Thanks. Yes we are very lucky to have it. The last few years have been a lot of grunt work and putting in roads. Now it is more down to some improvements and building of permanent structures to slowly replace some of the wooden ones. That pic was during a dry spell. Normally any amount of rain turns it into a lush jungle in places. It is a fun place even just to drive the tanks around and photo ops are excellent

Kitchener-Waterloo never looked so fine!

I saw those. I was under the impression they were not yet being done for the newest boards. I could be wrong!

LegoDEI makes two "apples". One is for Clarks, Tamiya, IBU, etc. The other is for the Heng Long 6.x and up. No difference between the 6.x and the 7.x that I am aware of.
