Looks awesome! My dad used to drive one of these back in the 80's, can't wait to see the updated pics.

Looks great and looking forward to an update, how did you cover the suspension? I'm thinking of making a 1/6 version.

I'd guess you made those models of commonly seen reflectors out of "Plasticard." I wonder if the name "Plasticard" is generic. When I search online, I get a web site for a place that makes ID cards. Here in the US, there is a selection of polystyrene card stock in all sorts of shapes. One of the most common brands is "Evergreen."

Hi Herr Dr,
Yes indeed, plasticard ( or more accurately Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or polystyrene) which is indeed a generic term and Evergreen i believe a trade name, flat sheet with some rolled 1mm square rod.
Aljones34,
The suspension is modified Heng Long Walker Buldog removed fron an old hull and extended, i will try and find some pics of it and modified wheels and idlers and i think modifield sprockets.
Thx for looking.
Cheers

I missed those reflectors when they were posted in September. I have a few builds that need them, and thank you for such a simple and wonderful idea (I am stealing that idea if it wasn't clear).

Well done Sub!

Hi folks,
Well finally a few pics of where my humble efforts are at with this project at present, just a few bits more to add, my least favorite one is all the periscope lenses, i will get around to it, plus a rear lower storage bin cover which i have been experimenting with out of canvas.
Made the number plates, rear convoy and number plate lights, added the convoy markings and bridge weight marker. A pair of wing mirrors and the drivers warning light pod on the left front side. Pair of headlight lenses.
Airbrushed in Nato green and Flat black with several cotes of Satin varnish.
Hope those interested find it worthy.
Anyhoo here's the pics.
