Egad! The M10 is one of my favorites. Do you have more photos? Maybe they will inspire me to go back to repairs on my Mato M10 after I finish the FAMO. I have :-< that Mato M10 many a time.

Thank you! My Mato needs a rebuild the get the tracks to function smoothly and a turret rebuild because only the rotation works. I hope someday...

Remember this.
Well at the end of last season it started to look a little tatty so is undergoing a revamp.

Then whilst going through my bits I found some flimsy cans and decided I wanted to use them instead of Jerry cans.

Then I decided I wanted them unpainted so I had a go at making them look like shiny tin.

Don’t tell the mrs I used her nail stuff to do it.

The photos have gone in the wrong order but you get the idea

Great tanks and this thread is quite educational to me because I have no idea what Sherman is which and with the endless amount of variants I suppose you could build up an enormous collection of tanks just modelling it to the exclusion of any other tank. I do remember chuckling about a post on another forum in a Panther thread when someone explained the D,A and G versions and the reply was that was why they didn't model any German tanks because there were too many variations :D

Herr dr. Professor it’s not just the chrome powder you need you will also need some non wipe top coat and a led/uv curing lamp you can buy hand held nail ones on eBay or Amazon. If you have a resin 3D printer curing station that will work to cure it too. You need to apply some non wipe top coat to what ever you want to chrome, then cure for 15 seconds dip eyeshadow applicator in to chrome powder and tub on to surface vigorously untill you have a mirror shine then apply non wipe top coat to seal in and cure that for 30 seconds.

I would also like to point out I didn’t chrome any part of the mrs. But the mrs chroming her own nails gave me the idea

Thanks, now I have to copy all the instructions and put them in my "Tanksalot/Howto" file. Then I can promptly do the age-appropriate thing: forget that I ever saw them. :/
