There are 2 types of Metal Hatch one comes in a kit of parts and the other comes ready assembled,
I suggest you go for the latter the amount of unnecessary faff getting the kit built and working makes you wonder if wasting your life doing this is really worthwhile
As to the renovated Tiger 1 that is an adventure I have yet to begin, I do have a new unboxed Heng Long 7.01 Tiger 1 which one day I will get on with but in the near future I will be painting and r/cing a new build from a fellow pair of Forum members,

Just to close this out - the eBay seller was good and sent me a new suspension arm - but I have decided to go TAigen lower hull anyway now - started a build thread in the HL section.
