The printed turret gear meshes perfectly to the HL drive motor, what a win!

So now I can crack on with the upper hull and turret design.

Impressive progress so far, Alwyn- and no obvious headaches to deal with so far, and I don't mean from your favoured EMA Plastic Weld :D

I will be making best efforts but there is a lot of design work still to do. I have concentrated on the structural bits and there is a lot of fine work still to do, especially around the sponsons.

I think your 'fuggly' comment is well deserved, you could never call a Churchill a 'pretty' tank. I put the Matilda next to it and you can see why the Matilda was classified as an infantry tank where the Churchill would properly be classed as a Main Battle Tank.

Don't let the wags discourage you, Alwyn. "Fuggly," yes, but one of my three childhood images of the tank: The cast hull and turret small hatch Sherman, the Churchill, and the Pzkw. IV with shell holes in the Schürtzen.
