Ford GPA is currently being converted to a medical vehicle. It now has its first casualty. Hand made stretcher.

I had mine apart, did a touch of re-soldering, and tried to give the motor-to-propshaft gearing a bit of lash. It was jammed tight, so my fiddling helped a bit.

Then I greased the prop shaft through the filler provided, using a marine grease made for RC boats. Now the prop motor seems unable to turn the propshaft at all. I think the motor is grossly underpowered. Might there be a motor of the same dimensions but with more power?

Mine arrived yesterday and seems to work fine on the carpet. Haven't tested it in the water yet.

Have you tried the prop yet? When I loosened the lash just a bit, the shaft turned, but ran unevenly. Now with the grease the motor cannot turn the shaft (and prop) at all.
