What's better for figures? Tamiya putty or milliput?

I use both. Tamiya Putty for small gaps and milliput for bigger holes and sculpting.

Same for me. I also use Tamiya gray Putty mixed with Tamiya thin cement to create texture with an old brush. The Tamiya white shrinks so dang bad it's almost worthless because it has to be reapplied so many times.

3D printed Soviet 45mm anti-tank gun with crew almost ready. Now I need only some ammo boxes.

No, it was printed by my friend on Phrozen Sonic 4k XL. It fits 3 figures on one go. I have Prusa SL1 so only one figure would fit. Sandbags were printed on filament printer. Figures and gun are available on CG Trader:

I can see myself being tempted to get a printer. Nice figures and well painted.

Do you use a wash on them or do you get the shadows in the clothing etc with shading using airbrush etc?

It was simple wash and drybrush. The gun will be in the middle of battlefield so I don't spend much time on the details
