So frank you the Sherman fanatic here though I am catching you up as you will see when club start up again. Do you happen to know if the Torro tracks etc are a good fit on the new hl premium gearboxes as the left over mato ones I have don’t fit. Just so I know what to buy

When you say "left over Mato ones," do you mean the ones that come with the Mato cast tank?
Because if you do, you'll find those Mato drive shafts are a smaller diameter than the Heng Long ones.
But the Sherman metal Mato tracks and sprockets that Dave and Julie sell are for the Heng Long sized drive shafts.

Yes they are from the mato hull that’s been scrapped as I’m building it on the HL. I have bought quite a few from Dave and they usually fit but wasn’t sure if it was the new red hl gearbox that had changed shaft diameter or not

Young man, you really do need to start reading the product descriptions :/

One, the red boxes are a direct replacement. And two, the shaft diameter is stated.

Yeah your quite right. But usually when I order stuff I do tend to buy the right part for what I need. On this occasion I was hoping to use parts I had from parts I have scrapped. But never mind I do still have it so I will just restore it and stick it on eBay as a mato a1 with paint. Gets out of my way then
