I gave up on the RCCommand battle system, because of feed back issues and non functioning parts and sent the whole lot back and have bought the RCtankwars version instead and am waiting delivery from Phil in the states

the Rccommand systems are good just wish there was more openess on the issues at hand

from a potential buyers point of view something that states plug and play should be without any modification and to show on the website installation an rx18 board as the main board
only to mention there are issues wiring to that board  that isnt plug and play
personally if i was anyone else other than me i wouldnt go near it with a barge pole

i think in all honesty the R&D wasnt done on this and pushed out to the market place a bit to quick

Sorry if my words may seem a bit strong they dont mean to be but they are my thoughts on the subject from the information i have or havent got :silent: :silent:

Hi I have sent you a P.M. Rob .about test I did

Regards the Rccommaned units dont get this wrong all the units that connect to an RX18 have feedback problems ,Darkiths DBC also has this feedback (high pitched whine when the drive motors are being used dosnt stop untill motors are at full power for a while)Problem when using the RX18 ,I have connected an RCCommaned unit to an RX14 and there is no feedback, there isnt a problem with the DBC when connected to an RX13 or RX14.Having said that all units I dont know if EL-mod has this feedback problem.
So even though it says plug and play you can but you cant here the sounds of gun fire or hit if the tank is moving, you can if its stopped,I did a test today and have managed to run a tank without the feedback ,have more tests to do tommorrow if I get the same result will tell you all how to stop the feedback.

regards pete

I got the battle sytem from Phill at Rctankwars on wednesday and have installed it in my HL tiger that is fitted with the RX18 board, I now have a full functioning HL battle tank, there are feedback problems at low speed, but as the tank gets faster the feedback get less.

I have shot a short video testing the system against my Tamiya Sherman and will upload it to U tube after I have edited it
you can here the feed back as the Tiger moves off and it goes away as the tank speeds up

That's strange. My Panzer IV from Phil has an RX-18 and a DBC fitted and no feedback problems !!!

I have the BDU from Phil on my H L KV 1 and do not have any feedback issues either. The volume is too quite but I'm going to try and amp set-up from Steve (Shenlonco) that he is having good luck with. :D
