Pzwest, I think 1/6th scale is your forte. Outstanding build, the detail really comes through in this scale.

Update:
Here are a few pics as the rear door and interior looks with the detail items temporary in place. I made a frame for the jerry can on the back of the half track. Looking through my halftrack reference books I see there was no set placement or configuration of the external jerry cans. I assume it is up to the vehicle commander and or unit where and how they were mounted. Still aways to go on the interior before I start on the outside. As has been said I have entered the realm of the dark side and no turning back.... LOL Comments and suggestions are welcomed.... Harold

PZW, It justs gets better and better, Can you post any links to the reference books that you have used. I'm really interested in the Sdkfz250 variants. Can you recommend any good pictorial books on the subject with plenty of camo reference.
Thanks

I decided to back date my 1/6th scale R/C AH(Armor Hobbies) SdKfz250 to a 253. Here are a few pics of the halftrack with it's first coat of paint. Still a little ways to go. Comments welcomed as always.... Harold

Re: My 1/6th SdKfz250 a WIP
Here are the latest pics almost done except weathering and a few odds and sods to finish. Rained here all day so had to take these indoors with the flash. If the weather co-operates tomorrow I will attempt to get some outdoor pics. I haven't applied any unit emblems just tactical markings. As always comments welcomed.... Harold
