For a removal tool I use a dental pick and a small hammer, just tap it out enough so I can grab it with small needle nose and pull it out. You can also use a push pin or a spare track pin.

If you didn't get extra track links with the tank you'll have to hope someone here has some. What continent are you on again? If it's N.A. I can hook you up. I'll need a couple photos of what you have to match a spare or three.

The only extras I got were plastic links. Which doesn't quite look right.
