i have received a full range of the Ammo of Mig Jimenez.I love this stuff
Its my first experience with camo painting, weathering etc.I am new in the airbrush, so this prototype of the RC Hetzer is perfect for the training.

I have used only oxide primer and dunkelgelb yellow, because i dont want to put too much effort to this prototype vehicle.
Here is my inspiration - this camo scheme is not my idea.I have found this: http://adventuresinscale.blogspot.com/2 ... added.html

I have used primer, yellow color, heavy chipping effect, and ultra matt varnish for now.I have to add enamel filter right now.I need to suppress this yellow color a little bit.
Then i have to add washes, streaking, earth pigment etc. Some fun is waiting for me :)
Oh - and today i have to assemble and test this exotic frontal axle and motors.Pictures from the inside is coming soon. Its the most interesting part of my Hetzer i think.

Here are some pictures. What you think about that strange camo? :D

Tank You very much :D

c.rainford73:
I hope i can make this as the fulltime job in the near future.
For now its almost 3 years of daily work, but i feel i am close to the first release (T-14 is stuck on the licensing).
Its talent, maybe. But i have a stamina at first.I am able to redraw every part again and again, before its seems to be good for me.
T-14 Armata was completely redrawed 3 times :D (at least 7000 sketches x 3).

Will01Capri:
This is a GT2 belts with 2mm pitch.Tension is regulated by the position of the motor. You can see two rails in the base of the hull. This is almost whole tension system. Its working well and its tiny.

That elevation/recoil unit looks nice and compact. Very impressive design. Do you think that would squeeze into the turret on a T34/76?

Thank you.
Yes.Just need a little modifications to fit even better.Stuff for the horizontal gun traverse and gunners sight traverse can be removed and the mount must be rotated 180 degrees.
You can see this on the pictures. You just need to fit this one part inside.Thats all.

Happy new year :D

I'm sure many of us are thinking, I know I am.... would you ever consider producing this in kit form for those of us who dont want to print or lack your skills and want a top notch assembly kit?

Thank you both for the interest.Yes.I know. This is a frequently asked question.
I want to provide STLs but 50% of people want to pick kit or even RTR.

I am not happy with that, because i dont want to make this same prints again and again. And serial printing of the kits and sending them around the world is definitely not a purpose of the 3D print.
But there is a demand.I know B| .
I have a full time job (mortgage...) so i have just a limited time to draw and print and i have just one printer. My printer need too much postprocessing to get good results, so i have to buy at least one professional FDM printer to print this kits.I dont want to spend my time and energy to do this now.

How much can cost a kit like this?I dont have calculated price, but we can say about 500-700€?Its a blind shot.I dont have idea.
Now i am in the situation, wich allows me to make one Hetzer kit in at least 2 months. Its not worth to do this for me (now).I can spend this energy with next project.

If (maybe once) making of the RC tanks become my full time job and i get one or two professional printers, i can print kit for everybody, one by one.
I have my hands tied right now.I need to draw another two tanks at least and release all what i have.I have some enviroment for the battlefield and static weapons too.
And lots of projects and concepts in mind.

Just a suggestion but why dont you post the set of stls to thingiverse with a price of say €50? That way you get payback for all your hard work and creativity, and also cash towards a new printer? I would certainly be interested and i'm sure there are other forum members who would also be happy to pay that kind of cash. You would probably need to find a manufacturer for the tracks and you should be able to get a royalty fee from them.

Before you know it you could be driving around in a flash car! :D

There’s a company in China that makes the tracks - I believe Dklm stock them for the 38T/Hetzer.

As much as I’d like one, I wouldn’t pay more than £500 for one with all the trimmings. May as well get a Ludwigs one and mk modellbau do the wheels.

3d printing is still a bit too expensive for my liking.
