I use imgur. Very easy, and free.

Now don't get me started on aluminium....

Those buildings look pretty good, anyone know how long the large parts take to print?

Hi Wibs,
I’ve been cutting the corner parts at 45 degrees & printing everything inside face down, time wise roughly 10 hours for a full build plate without adjusting settings, as it’s just the outside surfaces I’m bothered about I’ve been setting the speed multiplier to 150 percent & slowing it to 100 percent for the last couple of layers.
Hope that helps?
Cheers

Many thanks, I may get a set of files when I have some clear time to print them. 3D printed scenics are as tough as old boots, probably the best material to make scenery from.

Now I know the overall width, I’m on with marking up some 12mm MDF for the lower two floors.

I bought a load of A3 sheets of plasticard instead Doh!

I’ve finished marking out the MDF, I’ll print the new bay window tomorrow & mark that on too, then it’s down into the cellar where all the big noisy tools live ...

Here’s the product of 40 hours of printing.
I found the files on Thingiverse & scaled them up to 249 percent to give the columns a scale height of 7 feet, hopefully I’ll get the railings printed after work tomorrow.

Impressive devotion to this, someone asked me if I could print one, and sent me the files he bought...but the print time was simply way too long for my liking, so I had to decline. At some point I will see if I can do something similar that requires less material and time. :/

The thing I like the most about the rathaus files is that you don't necessarily have to build a rathaus. I'll be using the doors and windows and stairs on a multitude of different buildings, along with other windows and doors that I scrounged from the internet. Next I'm going to try that wonderful bay window that Wayne came up with.
