Finally got all the pieces to get the Diamond T functional, and here it is
Dougal (the faithful canine companion and watchdog) wasn't too impressed with it. The steering sevo is the wrong way round and I don't have the ciomputer cable to update the tx so driving was interesting (I'm using the HK T6A tx) whilst also trying to video the action.
Packing all the electronics and battery under the bonnet wasn't too painful but using the old velcro patches worked fine.
Now it's functional I can tidy up and get on with the build.

Looks excellent. I do hope you are going to find some suitable sounds when you finish it off.

Yes I must investigate the availability of inexpensive truck sound sound boards, I should have space for a board, the speaker may have to ride in the caboose.
