Thanks for the compliment, it's pretty much second nature to me nowadays. I had never had any experience of a CAD program 3 years ago, it's all a learning experience.

My gun crew arrived today. If i measure their heads could you make some helmets?

Sure, no problem, I have the same crew here, I can measure those. I should have thought of this addition myself...doh!

I'll print off 20, any BAD club members who want them can have them 5 for £1.

I will also do a stock of ammo crates and jerry cans at £2 each.

Kit now finished, will bring it to next meet.

Did a test helmet, the gun crew have odd sized heads, the only way to get the helmets to fit would be to grind the skulls a bit.... 8O

I'm going to be hyper critical - the dome on the Brodie helmet looks too high.

Possibly but its pretty close, its too low if anything, I had it lower but there was no way to get it on the head if it was any smaller. The filament is too thin to make them any better. I'm using shiny metallic grey filament, which distorts the image a bit.

Nice shiny helmet. Does it print well without support underneath
