Very nice work Mr Paul. I like how your paint pattern is done. Amazing how many king tigers have thier transport tracks on in the video

I wondered about that and came to the conclusion that because something like 80% of road bridges in Europe were too weak to take a Tiger 2 that the only effective way of moving them was by rail as railway bridges are built to carry much greater weight.
But this is based on logic not insights into the German Military mind.

Thanks Carl. I do enjoy using the airbrush.

The transport tracks weren't always fitted. It all depends on the loading gauge of the line to the destination. There are many photos showing Tigers loaded with their combat tracks fitted which means there was plenty of space either side of the railway line for clearances

I have read a couple of accounts where the Tigers went straight into combat as they rolled off the transporter wagons.
