It goes on...
Thereafter were both fitting areas with my grind mouse sanded, until it flushes with the wooden stripes.
Here a view a bit closer…
Not so bad; for the first use a good result. The surfaces were later eventually still a bit reworked to receive a more used surface.
After this example it goes still on at this gable side with brick laying, …
…followed again by grouting.
Now it has again to dry, thereafter it can go on at the counter side.

I'm curious ...... Did you have a hand in the building of the Colosseum in Rome or the Parthenon.? Athena would be proud of this craftsmanship at the Acropolis!!
This is an absolute testament to your skills as a craftsman and builder!

But there is a little difference between my barn and the other buildings...
My building isn't destroyed...
I'am pleased that you selected this thread as one of your favorites.

In between it goes on at the roof gables; the framework was already finished. At the gable sides were thin wooden stripes glued, which will display a cladding with plants. Also these wooden stripes were made from old boards.
At the foot area is the cladding round about 5 mm longer; so receive the complete roof an additionally leading.
By the way were 4 door leaf’s produced, which will built into both gable sides.
Here are the first both door leaf’s mounted with clamps,…
…while the gable side was further closed.
Completed…
Now comes the mounting of the doors; again were door hinges self-made. Copper stripes were cut,…
…rolled out…
…and thereafter folded and sold.
The counterparts were again made from eye screws with collars; into these eyes were little round brass pieces sold.
Both parts were sold together.
Almost finished hinge parts…

After door hinges manufacturing were the hinges at the door leaf’s aligned and mounted. Here the left leaf…
…and here are both door wings finished.
A closer view from the right side and...
…still once left.
A look at the inside of the doors.
Because the eye screws are only delivered in 12 mm length, had they a bit to be sunk in the wood.
Each door receives additionally a square stiffening.
Thereafter it goes on at the counter side.
Finished until the door cutting.
And here is the other gable also complete closed.

Hello Mark,
thanks for your comment.
The hinges are not so difficult to manufacture and before I something buy, I try to build my own parts.
That's why we call it model building...
