started the lower hull last night it has taken some time to work out but it should work luckily a tamiya kingtiger hull is about the right width but i only need 5 suspension arms not 9 so i have got some ally right angle so i  cut the sides off the kingtiger hull then  fitted the kintiger suspension mounts to the right angle  and then to get the right hight to the sides so i cut the kingtiger hull sides down seems to bo ok so far

got a lot  done on the lower hull tonight the internals are a bit rough and ready but thay work just need to make the idlers and the return rollers

I can't belive how quickly you're putting this together matey - Well done , can't wait to see it finished

Rough and Ready!!!! It puts HL internals to shame.
You might need to upgrade the motors and gearboxes later on. From what I've been reading the Comet had to have a governor fitted to limit it's top speed as it was causing too many crew injuries and damaging the suspension!

ahh pete,, thats way too tidy!

i dont have a designated work area as all i have is my bedroom LOL so my room... well what you can see is... wait you cant see any of it! their is a like 10 ich gap going through the centre to my computer, another path to my other computer, and enough room for the desk chair to turn round so i can play on the PS3, and then a small gap then i have to jump to get onto my bed.

LOL,, i cant see the floor!

but gonna give it a tidy soon, need more space.. been thinking of cutting through the roof into the loft LOL, but i dont think the parents would be too pleased!

iv had a bit of a set back with the comet lower hull i got my Measurements a bit wrong  :-[ so i am having to build a new lower hull will post pics later
