Thanks for posting the video Tom, looks like a nice tank.

So I am a MAC user, no PC. Do you know if the software needed to obtain sound will work with a Mac? And I am speaking in particular about the IBU3 software. If that makes any sense?

At the moment the ibu3 software is PC only. Best option I have found so far is to buy a cheap Windows tablet (I got a refurbished one for under £40) install the software on the tablet and do the programming via that. I know it's more expense but does come in handy if you want to change any settings when your out of the home with the tank.

I've not tried a windows based phone, but as long as the phone is running full Windows and has USB output I guess should work. But I presume if your a Mac user you wouldn't go near a Windows phone

Thanks for the replies. I had a PC until a month ago but it finally died after 14 years. I'll take a look around for a PC, either a desk model or a laptop. I would really like to try an IBU3.

Tom, sounds great and I agree the gearboxes are sweet running, on the Mato 6 cell NiMh I found the motors (full charge) had good power too.

BTW, I had the same issue with one track being a little too slack but the idlers are adjustable - simply loosen the large nut on the idler mount housing and the idler turns on an off-set cam, this is notched however so it a bit tricky I found if the tension you want is between notches.
