I think it would run better if I had a T2000 esc for it and use my regular rc transmitter.

Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement.... Harold
If anyone has an old T2000 esc they don't want and would like to donate it to this carrier project I'd really appreciate it. I have heard that it isn't a very good one but might work fine for this project as all I want to control are the two motors, I thank you in advance
Update:
Carrier steering mechanism. Here are a few pics of my carriers steering mechanism prior to painting.

beautiful work Harold
if you need any close up shots give me a shout a friend of mine has 1:1 scale canadian carrier
on the ESCs have you tried R/C car speed controllers as i did in my T34 worked real well till i killed the Gearbox
you can run two on a reciever just have to take out the red wire on one of the ESCs or else youll kill the reciever

(if you go this route

)

Hi Harold Having a look at your carrier they must have been a hard to get into if you were tall they look very cramped in the drivers position and not much room for the co-driver/gunner .Nice to see the detail going in ,Have you thought about the old DMD t01 they were just a 2 channel speed controler I think they take 20amps .
