Cool yeah that's right
When you move the turret is left on the stick rotate left with the turret and is up on the gun up when you push the stick up?

Yes Del, on the right stick, up moves the elevation, and the turret rotation works correctly when the right stick is moved side to side  the left stick currently operates nothing

Okay if you can turn turret and fire machine gun on left stick, try holding the left stick down (should be machine gun) and right for 5 seconds if that doesnt work try down left.

If neither of them work check battery is charged as the ibu2 won't start engine with a flat battery because low voltage protection. Also check dip switch #7 is off.

BINGO  Thanks Ian we have startup  , at the minute all the turret functions are on the right stick, the machine gun fire works when the right stick is pushed straight up on that so I moved the right stick to the top right corner for 5 seconds and it started :D but it's not all good news :lolno: when it started the tracks moved on their own and the tank started creeping backwards without any input from me, at least I know it works though so that's a start 8)

Thanks Del, what should I be calibrating to stop the track creep ? It's still not 100% I want to move things around to get them working on the correct sticks, my main goal has been achieved though which was to see if it all works and that's down to the helpful members on here which I am very grateful too for taking the time to help sort it, a round of applause guys

Sorry I can't tell you how or why calibrating might stop the track creep, all I know is the ibu I put in my t34 did the same and I recalibrated it and all was good.

LEE, Can I put my 2 pence worth in ?
You say you will be using a "SPECTRUM DX6i" I have one that I use with my Aircraft BUT I don't use it for my Armour because it does not have a "ROTARY" control so that means any adjustments to the volume from the speakers can only be done using the potentiometers on the Tank,
If you want to change the volume from the transmitter you will need something like a "TURNIGY T9X" or it's newer version the "TURNIGY T9XR",
There is an exact copy of the T9X still available, It is the "FLY SKY TH9X" I recommend it.
Ian (TANKBEAR) will be selling them flashed with "TANK FIRMWARE" soon.

I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
