Im loving your build so far bowlman. I've just ordered my Tamiya KT. Is it worth getting the Impact suspension?
I've heard from many people they can be a real pain to adjust, but give a much better ride.
What do you think?

Cheers,
Rik

On the Torsion Bar Suspension after you understand how you should adjust them it gets easier set the road wheels to just touch bottom of tracks then you push the rear two road wheels down on tracks as far as they will go and lock screws there then you do the front two road wheels same way then check front off hull from bottom of tank to floor for a distance of 30mm it should be less before you add battery and speaker box then after tank back together it should be real close to 30mm with the added weight of everything .
Here is the numbers for different tanks with this suspension upgrade .

Panther all 3.2cm or 32mm

Tiger 1 E 2.7cm or 27mm

Tiger 2 B 3.0cm or 30mm

Thanks
Jimmy

Added more springs to DT idler now the KT turns like it should am a happy Kt owner now .With the Impact metal tracks and sprockets you need a lot of spring tension for them to work .   :D
