if more people are buying the price will rise
and at the the end of the day each individual has a choice between all manufactures and to upgrade as they wish

50 pounds is a good price, but then the shipping is another 40. I've found that shipping cost is becoming a major factor when deciding which tank to buy. While 50 pounds plus 40 shipping isn't bad, you can also find this tank for 80 or 90 pounds with free shipping. Must be a marketing strategy, eh?

Yes I've notice that a lot as I do a,lot of scratch building ..
.. perushing hulls with wheels wereally £12.50 plus postage ...now there at least £25 ..plus postage
I was quoted £22 for pershing tracks plus postage

It's getting a bit out of hand now ....

as a seller of me and a buyer as you guys , we have been all hit by exchange rate and the haulage cost.
exchange rate was about £ 1.00 = $ 1.61 , now we are struggling to get $ 1.45 , which is more than 10% increased . Haulage is also hit from £ 600 to £ 850 which is 30% up . i think that is the reason ?

Shipping to the US is 40, but in europe is 10. Its a big difference.

Andy, that's what I mean by marketing strategy. It sounds a lot better to say the tank costs 50 and then add 40 for shipping than to say it costs 90 with free shipping.

Rad, I did not know it was cheap shipping in Europe and you are absolutely right, Sir, that makes a HUGE difference. With cheap shipping it's a good deal.
