Hear you loud and clear 43 and I do wear the moniker of eclecticism rather proudly....have a reputation for it lol...Just like you My influences came from elemental readings of Dick and Jane....all the way to the studies of Sun Pin /Sun Tzu ....from Glenn Miller to the new age of Kpop

Well, that's the spirit, Boys! Hey Stuart, aka Tiger Tiger, I hope you don't mind me saying it- and maybe you've heard it before, but you bear a passing resemblance to wegie Jim Kerr, of 'Simple Minds'.
I was a biker many years, my steed being a BMW R80 RT (ex-police model). The left Pot, and massive fairing, on that heavyweight saved my left leg, when some numbty came out of a side turning, and gave me a broadside. He claimed he 'hadn't seem me! (High viz on an old Police bike, what's not to see?). I don't ride bikes in the Highlands, as there's a real danger of hitting something large and wearing antlers Great photos, by the way. That said, I managed a double break of my ankle just slipping on wet grass; so maybe a Norton Interpol would be safer
And Alpha, for musical eclecticism (Cher: the Beat goes on?) how's this:- I go from Chopin's "Berceuse" to Captain Beefheart's 'Big eyed beans from Venus"; and from 'Fats Waller's 'Your feets too big', to Richard Cheese's 'I'd like a virgin", and Sandy Denny's 'Who knows where the time goes' (With Airport Convention): all points of the musical compass. I can also play most of McCartney's Beatles bass lines, on my old Hofner!
A fellow Camaro, fan, eh Gary? Looks like an interesting New Year coming up..

well 43not sure about the resemblance but yep hurts when u fall off for sure, fell off a few times when a teenager on a cossack voshkod that had very tractor like tyres and rubber as hard as iron, came back to riding a while back but as having back and neck problems a trike is best way to roll. must admit i miss my yank muscle cars tho.

There was a time when one of my biggest problems was deciding which one of these two to drive to work that day. Those were the days, Eh?

Sweet rides max, when i was a kid i grew up on the films like smoky and the bandit, two lane blacktop, bullitt, the original gone in sixty seconds, american graffiti and where i lived here in england was near a big us airbase saw all the classics growing up in my teenage years, in my small village half the houses were rented to usaf families, i remember a hot young busty wife who had a cherry red new mach 1 mustang, a customised metallic green olds cutlass all sorts of muscle car. of course lmao Rockford files and starsky n hutch . A neighbour and family friend who was in the usaf helped me with my interest in cars and mechanics and he was a serious drag racing guy back in the usa so that just fuelled my interest even more. As u say happy times.

..And these days, Max the agonising choice is:- Panzer 4, Tiger, I, King Tiger, Sheman...and an Aladdin's cave of others...never mind the Camaro and Mustang (?).. Still, if you built a 1/6 Sherman you could go to work on that, eh?!! By the way, has anyone even built a flame- throwing scale model tank? One of those would provide an excellent way to cut though traffic jams, or have a novel beach barbecue!
