I don't think we have any REAL clique's here, but I can understand how somebody who had only spent a day on this forum could perceive this - but then is a forum not 'cliquey' by nature? you either feel comfortable enough to post or you stand on the sidelines and read other peoples entries... I'd like to think that we would welcome all who wanted to be here (well ok, so I could think of one or 2 out there in the community who will be shot on sight if they ever sign up...) and do our best to help and encourage the newcomers - beyond that what can we do...?

Ex-Pat.

Do keep up the good work monitoring this site. It is appreciated...even if all of you don't get a lot of thanks for your work.

And I would not dream of taking away your title. In fact, there are days at work when I am over my ears in office politics that I quite envy your title and the awesome power it bestows.    ::)

PS some good points picked up here. I will say this though this is still the most open and troll free forum I have the pleasure of belonging to. Enough said I think

You have to have moderators on forums, or the forum would descend into chaos. It doesn't matter how many there are, in fact it’s a good thing to have many so there is almost 24/7 cover.
The problems start (and I’ve seen it on other forums) where the mods start getting heavy handed over small infringements. I have also seen mods on others sites become one sided and only support their “mates ". These things just kill off a good forum.

You get some people who seem to think that they have more “rights" than others because of their post count, if I had my way I’d not have post counts showing at all, as I think this can be intimidating to new users too. I’ve not seen it here and if I’m honest I don't think it will happen on this forum. All in all, I’ve found this forum to be friendly and helpful, so much so I’m happy to put my slippers on and settle here

Hit the nail on the head there guys

as said before this forum was set up by normal guys for normal guys and as has been shown yes we get things wrong but if its been spotted its corrected as quick and as easy as possible with the least amount of fuss

if anyone doesnt matter how many posts or the like spot something they arent happy with then let a mod now and we will try our best to resolve it/sort it to the best of our abilities

the clique thing  yes there is one its all of us that have logged onto the forum to use as we see fit whether its post or no post ;)
if you dont post then how are we going to find out who you are :o :o
have a good natter or help out with a problem
we have also proved that we arent all about tanks here more a community pretty rare these days and when we all did get together for a meet well what a blast  :D :D again a meet is up to the individual and for the guys who were here before the bovvie meet i hope and am sure didnt feel left out or ignored because they didnt go

just a note to remember i for one havent done anything like this in my life so that said im just as much a "Newbie" as the next person to log in (who may know more than me ::) ::))

Kind regards Rob
