Got any ideas of who I can get one from here in the states??? On a different note: I came across an old (10 years or more) Tamiya Tiger kit. brand new in the box never opened. I cut a deal for $200. and will pick it up this weekend. Can't wait to start on it. I'm sure I'll be way deeper by the time I'm done with it.
When it comes to Heng Long I sure don't. I get my tanks from Artistic Hobbies in Texas. He sells Taigen and Tamiya. He has a good parts selection for Taigen and Tamiya and offers great customer service. Check Ebay for a Heng Long RX-18.

Thanks guys. I'll check the plug and I found the panel in NY. I ordered 2 just to be safe. It's pissin me off but I haven't given up yet!!!! I not fimiliar with all the different elctronic stuff yet so I'm learning quickly. I'm a modeler more than an electrician so I'll keep pounding on it (works on the TV!!!) I'll look into the Taigen stuff. Maybe they are less problems than the HL??? Thanks again and be ready for more questions.

Ask all of the questions you need too. Taigen has it's problems too. I bought one of their new metal T-34/85's and it was loaded with problems. Got a full refund after they tried to fix it and didn't. Bought another from Artistic Hobbies and it has been a dream. Probably my smoothest running tank.

Ok guys, Here is the final (I hope) update. I bought a couple RX-18's off the internet and installed the first one and it seems to have fixed the problem. I ran it for one 20 minute charge and everything worked fine. I'm hoping it continues, as it worked fine when I got it then I started having problems, at least I have another RX-18 if necessary!!!! I would like to thank all you guys who helped me work through this and for the encoragement to not give up. Thanks again
