Link don't work for me

Just noticed last night that there's a tank movie on Movies4men channel at 9pm next sunday - those of you who can get the channel might want to watch or record - the trailer showed a tiger and I think a panzer IV, plus Fury is out on DVD today I think. Cheers Alwyn

Doing a little surfing and thought I'd mention a couple of movies. "Full Metal Jacket" for Vietnam. Excellent snow battle between Russian tanks and German anti-tank gun in "Stalingrad" I ordered "Winter War" Finnish militia against Germans in the 1939-40 Russo-Finn War should be good.

Don't forget one of the best most historicly correct war movies are made, "Kelly's Heros".

Virtually every film listed can be viewed on Youtube for free - especially easy if you have got a smart tele or an Apple box, etc.

This is the battle scene Tiger versus 4 Shermans from Fury.
If the commander of the Tiger had just sat where he was instead of advancing, the outcome of the battle would have been different of course.

Well as that contributor used to say: 'Carpe diem'...and the Vietcong certainly did. As with Burma, it was discovered that tanks and jungle / heavily forested areas don't go together....and you don't see war films about the Burma campaign in which tanks were involved....not even the diminutive Japanese ones. Certainly the Chindits had no access to them, only a Bren gun, .303 and a sort of machete...

Alpha, There is a scene where the song "Surfin Bird" is playing " well, everybody's heard about the bird, the bird bird bird the bird is the word...." and there is a line of Patton tanks blasting the crap out of buildings (Hue City) in the movie FULL METAL JACKET.

Hi Watch this film They were not divided 1950 film you can down load it free ,just google the title . Loads of Shermans even a couple of Tigers in it .Plus other types of armoured vehicles. worth watching .
