Hi All
Well on with the next installment.
After a good trundle around at our last meet and nothing breaking or falling off, I thought it time to start painting so whilst the hull and chassis is drying its first guide coat, I can carry on working on the launcher unit..
Three Scrap Missle pods later. I finally got a good unit to my satisfaction that was a nice sliding fit. I found in the Hobby Catuloge a long rack and gearset in ABS plastic for only £3.99 so thought why not let try and motorise the pod units. The rack screws nicely onto the bottom of the pod and using a 3v motor/gearbox unit that I think nicely fits into the bottom of the launcher and still looks good, at least one unit is motorised. Now to see how long it takes to make the second pod and mechanism

I have given her a coat of olive drab now and done a final installment of the radio gear and now just have to decide to leave her in olive drab or pick a country and camoflague her accordingly. I have still got the firing pods to finalise design on then build but its getting there. Anyway hers the pictures of her at this time. Denzil

Denzil you must be so proud of this build, it is quite amazing and so different from anything else. Brilliant job.

well apart from the 2 small white crosses to go either side of the missle box I decided to go for the 137th division Greek Army which (I know its cheating but the colour scheme is just olive drab with black lettering and the simple white cross so makes my life so much easier)
Apart from the ongoing saga of trying to get working firing missles I have decided to finish her like this . Thanks for all your comments

ps I'l up date when I eventually get the damm pods to work properly and fire relabily .
