yes and actually the IMEX site is a bit inflated, marketing in action there my good man. inflate on one site so you can sell on another or sell through a distributor. Either way I am not sure they care as long as you are buying Taigen. Their metal version tanks and the Plastic version Tiger are the only tanks I would buy and actually they are the only ones I sell.
The metals and plastic Tiger are really good values though for what you get

Yup you see it on EBAY all the time.... there will be a couple of sellers...with low priced listings...then one with the manufacturers retail price ...what I don't care for are the shills or pushers...the ones with accounts sponsored my some seller who push the bids.....they are not supposed to...but it happensFreakyDude wrote:yes and actually the IMEX site is a bit inflated, marketing in action there my good man. inflate on one site so you can sell on another or sell through a distributor. Thanks for asking FreakyDude. Taigen/Imex/Phoenix Hobbies received the tank via Fed Ex on Tuesday. I haven't heard from them yet. I figured I would give them until Monday then I would contact them.FreakyDude wrote:out of curiosity what happened with this tank? has it been repaired and returned yet?

Re: New Taigen T-34 IR
I just contacted Phoenix/Taigen and asked the status of my tank. I received a return email saying that they shipped it on the 17TH. Nice of them to let me know.jtracks wrote:Thanks for asking FreakyDude. Taigen/Imex/Phoenix Hobbies received the tank via Fed Ex on Tuesday. I haven't heard from them yet. Re: New Taigen T-34 IR
I didn't ask. I consider mine new due to the ten minutes worth of run time it had on it. The tracking number says it should be here Friday so we'll find out then. They didn't say what they found wrong either, maybe there will be a note.ALPHA wrote:Pretty fast turnover....they sending you a new one thenjtracks wrote:I just contacted Phoenix/Taigen and asked the status of my tank. Re: New Taigen T-34 IR
So when I returned home today there was an IMEX box sitting on the porch. I was surprised due to the fact that the Fed EX tracking number said Friday.
So here is what happened. Recharged the battery, started the tank and the main gun started to rapid fire again. Shut it down, restarted, and this time no rapid fire but no gun response when I lifted the left stick. As before, everything else works. So, I've contacted Taigen with a description of events, disputed the charge to my credit card, filed a claim with Amazon, and asked for a full refund. Just received an email from Taigen saying sorry I had a problem and they would issue a refund when the tank was returned. I sent a follow up telling them to send me a return authorization. I feel this is an unfortunate chain of events. The problem PROBABLY could have been solved if they had sent a new tank as I asked but they chose to try and fix this one and they failed. They must be missing something within the turret or recoil device. I know some of you are enjoying your new Taigen T-34 without any problems and I'm happy for you. My Taigen Panzer IV works just fine. Sorry for the long post.
