I must have not gotten that message. :haha:

I'm excited to see Herman's job with this one though! Can't wait to see the guts and what needs improving from the base model.
:haha: OK... Well at least you know now lol... Too bad it wasn't a month sooner on the US release of the Herschel ...bought the Porsche not one month before...but lucky they were affordable lol...as I just about pounced on the Herschel when my favorite seller got them in...some problems..but the only added expense was dialog and a few pictures... it was sorted soon after :D
So all together I got two KTs for the price of one Taigen :D

I'm confused ALPHA whats a Herschel? :S :S

I thought Herschel was an 18th/19th century German astronomer. :D

Henschel definitely makes more sense if we are talking about tanks. ;)

Opened the big fella up. Seems to be constructed of a different type of plastic going by the colour and pattern.
I was looking forward to breaking off the guards, but to my horror, they have made the glue monkey redundant(probably due to a budget blow out on glue) & gone for the SINGLE MOULDED INTEGRATED WITH THE DAMN HULL option :wtf: :wtf: :O :O
To remove these is going to create some plast-swarf :-<

Nice King Tiger HERMAN. About the mudguards, I think even the old version HL KT (the one with the Porsche turret) also have the mudguards molded as a single unit. So you will still have to do the work if you want to remove them whichever version you pick.

Herman,
To remove those cleanly without too much damage to your tank's upper hull, you could use a scribing blade ( ala' Pershing sand shields in the current build )

HA HA......... Here's a photo of the elusive Herschel King Tiger... only one produced ...the unveiling was rather epic...as the banner was pulled off
to reveal a hidden chocolate covered interior .... the Idea was later copied by a man named Hershey ...who changed the shape in to a droplet..and called it a Hershey Kiss :haha:
